Internet and Communication Technology
assisted Collaborative Project-based Learning is the most
powerful way of using technology in Education.
There is clear evidence that when pupils learn
through "interactive collaborative projects" they not
only enjoy it and put their whole heart into it they also learn
better.
Below are two links that have more info about
an organisation I have been involved in for a number of
years. Working with teachers to set up and overcome
any barriers to get the most out of this form of
Project Based Learning would be my aim. Again the
training would take place in this whole process.
A practitioner for many years and now also a
researcher of this mode of learning/teaching, Barry Kramer
said the following:
A good place to
begin to look at Project Based Learning
would be the teaching modules on the George Lucas Educational
Foundation Web site <http://www.glef.org/>.
They are excellent. There is also some good information on the
ISTE Web site <http://www.iste.org>.
